The Rohrig difference

We work side-by-side with every client to ensure we maximise the value of the building for its life.

How we achieve results

Rohrig is a commercial construction company based in Sydney and Brisbane. Since 1991, we’ve created outstanding value across a range of sectors including education, hospitality, aged care and light industrial. We work collaboratively and transparently to bring your vision to life. With family values and a strong culture, we are determined to fulfil every promise.

Our vision

We are a proudly Australian company which, through hard work, inclusion and strong leadership, activates the potential in both our people and our projects. This enables us to maximise value for our clients and for the life of each building.

Five stages where we achieve value

Initial idea

What will you build? What are the options? What are the inherent challenges? What opportunities are there to achieve more of what’s important to you, whether that’s financial success, educational outcomes, flexibility or architectural innovation?

Detailed feasibility

This is a detailed analysis of everything you need to maximise potential and avoid pitfalls. The list is long from land-zoning implications to floor-plan options and interior design. Preliminary architectural designs are created. Costings and savings become clearer.

Master-planning and development application

What do local authorities require now and for future growth (including parking)? How will utilities cope with the new demand? Will the façade comply? 3D modelling and every detail of design is considered for buildability, practicality and life-cycle value. Proper preparation for development application is a major time-saver and cost-saver.

Design documentation and building approvals

While making sure everything is compliant with Building Code of Australia constraints, we also develop detailed specifications, evaluating everything from upfront capital investment in equipment to long-term running costs of components. Clarity at this stage saves expensive changes later.

Construction

If we’ve been with you from the start, we’ve tested your plans for 360-degree value. Even at this stage, we can value engineer with recommendations for design or materials adjustments. We stage works to keep your business operational. And our quality build and finishing consolidate the value.

Our team

Many of our team members have been with the company decades, some even since the beginning. This gives us stability and mature knowledge, which we balance with fresh ideas from the next generation of managers. We share a strong culture of achievement and integrity.
