Coolangatta Sands Backpackers Hostel
We fully renovated this landmark, historic hotel – licensed since 1911 – incorporating a new public bar, lounge bar, kitchen, dining area, night club, bottleshop and 111-bed backpacker hostel. By carefully staging the project, the client was able to continue beverage sales and gaming machine operation.
"The life-size 3D models of the kitchen and bar areas were dynamite. They allowed us to touch and feel our initial design, which highlighted some necessary adjustments, and saved us a lot of time and aggravation. It meant that the final installed product was right."
