RSL Clubs are becoming a foodie's haven

Formed in Australia in 1916, the RSL was borne out of the camaraderie, concern and mateship shown by diggers for the welfare of their mates during and after the First World War.

RSL clubs quickly sprang up in all states.  By the 1950’s, almost every city, town and suburb had an RSL club.  They were a place where returned soldiers could meet and relax.  And the Clubs continue to be the custodians of the ANZAC Day commemoration ceremonies.
